About Author Guy

What's your wildest dream? Mine was becoming a stripper. I thought about it for years and finally did it while in grad school, going to classes by day and dancing naked at night. Along the way, I met some crazy characters and had some wild times. I write about all of it in my memoir, ALL I COULD BARE: MY LIFE IN THE STRIP CLUBS OF GAY WASHINGTON, D.C. (Simon & Schuster)

Critics wrote:

"Unafraid to bare it all...readers will feel they’re in the hands of an expert." Publisher's Weekly

"Part sexy parable, part witty reminiscence...Seymour shows that there's far more to being naked than taking off one's clothes."-- Josh Kilmer-Purcell, author of the New York Times bestsellers, The Bucolic Plague and I Am Not Myself These Days

"...a bare-a__ed, neon-lit tour de force..." The Bay Area Reporter

"Raunchy splendor...somehow both bawdy and sweetly nostalgic at the same time." Dallas Voice

"...how can you NOT love a book when the first sentence is “F__k it.”? David Dust
