Father, I come to you today thanking you for always being close. You are always here with me. I come just as I am. You know my sinfulness. I’m dependent on you for your grace and mercy. Usher me into your holiness today as I follow Jesus. Meet my needs according to your promises. My greatest need is more of you. Fill me with a fullness of your Holy Spirit. I long for you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Those who call on the Lord in truth come to Him spiritually naked, hiding nothing. They come just as they are in total repentance, recognizing their sinfulness, being unclean in the presence of His holiness. They do not question His timing or methods in answering prayer. They simply stand on His promises. He is there to love and forgive. He is there to hear and answer. He grants them mercy while giving them grace and peace.
Note: Coming to God spiritually naked. #devotional

Please know that we must call on the Lord in truth, which means praying while expecting His promises for you as declared in His Word. It’s not praying for what you want; it’s praying for the promises that God has given you in His Word. So many today call on the Lord in their times of trouble, but they do not know the Word; they do not obey the Word. They ask things of the Lord that are not even in line with His Word. As we learn the Word and obey it, we can call on the Lord in truth.

Jesus, I thank you for coming into my world. You are the greatest leader that has ever walked this earth. Thank you for showing me that true leadership is all about serving humanity. Help me to not miss an opportunity to serve someone today as I serve you. The opportunities will be there; give me eyes to see them. Increase my desire to follow you by taking up the towel and serving others. In the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

Jesus Christ is the greatest leader that has ever walked this earth. If we follow Him, we will be good leaders. What did He do? He left the riches of glory to come into our poor world to serve a lost and dying humanity. Jesus served. We are left with no greater picture of this than when Jesus took up the towel and washed dirty, stinky, nasty, un-cared-for feet. That is true leadership from The Greatest Leader. Beloved, take up the towel and follow Jesus in serving someone today and every day. As you serve our LORD, you will become a great leader to those you are serving.

“While they were praying, the place where they were meeting trembled and shook. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak God’s Word with fearless confidence” (Acts 4:31 MSG).

Father, I thank you for the privilege of prayer and the supernatural help that we receive through praying. I pray for the Holy Spirit to fill us today with a renewed confidence that displaces all fear. The devil is always scheming against us; he steals, kills, and destroys, but Jesus gives us life. We live in times when fear holds many hostage. As we spend time in prayer, give us a Word to speak along with a fearless confidence to speak it. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

We can live with fearless confidence in these times of terror, turmoil, and uncertainty as we surround our life with prayer. As we pray, we will receive a holy boldness from the Holy Spirit that enables us to speak and live the Word in these difficult days. Praying will get us through every one of the devil’s attacks against us.

Prayer is powerful. When I pray, I know that God hears my cries. The very One who created everything by His spoken word listens to you and me. Why? Because He loves us, and He cares for us. Pray on, Beloved. Pray on. It will change you, and you will look at your circumstances differently.
    Note: Prayer is powerful.

While the world today is looking for leaders to step up, Jesus is looking for followers to step out. The call to step out and follow Him is all grace. The act of stepping out will require faith and that faith is initiated by Jesus in those whom He calls. Jesus calls us right where we are; He calls us just as we are. He makes us into what He wants us to be, as we answer the call and follow Him.
Note: Jesus is looking for followers to step out.
