Tanya was 11 years old when she began the 4th grade in Harrison Creek Elementary School, and because of her apparent mental disability, most normal members of society shunned her. Adults had abused her, and children had teased and bullied her. Raven had hoped to get his daughter away from that terrible life and enrolled her in the school and away from her siblings.
Note: This is why Tanya disappeared & why many adults were arrested for their involvement in her disappearance.

Tanya was an ordinary girl from an ordinary family. Her parents, Raven and Lucy, had raised her, her siblings Arthur, Spencer, James, Trevor, and Tallulah in New York, New York until they moved to Harrison Creek, just in time for Tanya to start the 4th grade.
Note: There is a problem with this story; it'll be revealed in the sequel.
