Sometimes it’s fine to play a bit and build something cool. But eventually you’ve got to stop and ask yourself if it’s useful, too. Cool wears off. Useful never does.
Or instead of casual Fridays, try no-talk Thursdays.
Note: Make Wednesdays "no interruptions day. Use the morning for vision stuff...the afternoon for sermon prep. No meetings can be looking at graphic phone calls.
They frequently have agendas so vague that nobody is really sure of the goal.
Note: Make sure we have a specific enough agenda and meeting goal that we can't deviate too far off subject. Make sure we limit the amount of goals and define the timing if each item well.
